Hammer for CS:GO

Off the main topic here but decided to post otherwise, I've been trying to open some maps in csgo hammer for some of the zombie escape maps to try and find the secrets on some of the maps. However whenever i try to open one of these files in hammer, it always shows up as hammer not responding?

You have to decompile the map .bsp to a .vdf first. Use uhh bspsource (google it).

I have figured it out. The map view was turned to wireframe and whenever i tried to change it it had been changing the whole thing to the camera. But i gots it to work. Thank you for all your help all <3

and make sure it's set to 3d textured
