its a bot that puts the most popular threads on google search. tahts all. and we have it cause of the sponsors. try searching for a topic that it was in.

Yup... this question has been asked before, you could've searched for it on the forums. Ever notice when you search something on google, next to the URL, it says "Cached." Yeah, google goes on all of the pages in its "sphere of influence" and pretty much saves it so you can see an older version of the page or see what it was before it got shut down or something.
