There are laws against death threats for good reason. When one person, especially a young girl, receives many of them, it's certainly cause for investigation and prosecution.

As if any death threats will be acted upon.

The reason she's receiving death threats is because people have a slight degree of anonymity over the internet. Put them in front of her face and they wouldn't say/act the same.
