At first sight it does look a lot like Minecraft, and it is partially inspired by it, but once you get some time in playing you'll realize the 2 games are barely alike.

It's not a fallacy, long explanation short sir, judging someone over the internet with no idea how the person really is and what areas he is smart in is an action taken by someone lacking in intelligence.
