blackjack787 2 Posted January 9, 2011 The new mustang has a new engine which was much needed. The new engine puts out 305 horses and 280 lb-torque, while the GT has 412 horses. With the new horsepower upgrade it also has become more fuel efficient by have 31 MPG highway. I have just bought a 2011 mustang v6 and I was wondering what your thoughts on the mustang are. Would you get a 2011 Mustang or some other car such as a Mazda3speed, Camaro or even a volkswagon GTI. I believe I made the right decision but I want your opinion so tell me what you think. People who dont know anything about cars, dont comment your comments are just retarded and make you sound dumb. Here is some pictures of my car.2008 Mustang GT convertable (left) vs 2011 Mustang V6 Righthttp://img510.imageshack.us/i/2008vs2011.jpg/Back of the stanghttp://img524.imageshack.us/i/backrp.jpg/Front of carhttp://img17.imageshack.us/i/frontyed.jpg/Drivers door (got tinted windows right when I picked it up. blackjack787 2 Posted January 9, 2011 22,145 before tax, and that is MSRP who gets the new mustang for MSRP, for that matter any car... That is also for pure base.... Cloth interior, non automatic windows, manual headlights, no seat warmers... etc.For the v6 Premium it is 25,845 before tax, gets you a lot more features that are worth it
Dakota 4722 Posted January 9, 2011 Meh. Mustangs are a bit overrated. They are great cars but people just praise them too much. 1 Velo reacted to this
blackjack787 2 Posted January 9, 2011 I agree with you for the old mustangs. But the knew ones I believe are awesome and deserve the praising that people have been giving to the old ones. The old ones were too overrated, Old engines and not good power for the year. Brand new engines in all the new mustangs!

blackjack787 2 Posted January 10, 2011 I would love an old 1970 Boss 302 mustang.... I personally don't like the 2002 mustang designs though. The turn of the century designs arnt that good. I would prefer 1990 or before or 2006 +

tappeddarkman 3 Posted January 10, 2011 i would much rather have a earlier mustang.my brother had a late 1980's mustang that looked exactly like this one. it had a rebuilt engine and it screamed power. if you herd it run you would just smile.
blackjack787 2 Posted January 10, 2011 That car has some nice black rims. Reminds me of the 2008 mustang GT rims, but they are silver standard. I love all of the old mustangs, they have more character then some of the newer ones.

blackjack787 2 Posted January 10, 2011 The best part of getting a mustang is being able to modify it so much.
Skotti 2105 Posted January 10, 2011 There's better and greater cars you can get for less than half I'm afraid. You honestly don't need a new mustang do you?
Chaos 2 Posted January 10, 2011 blackjack I like your choice of a car.. I'm thinking of buying one when I'm older with a job.. I've wanted a mustang for quite some time now.

This would be compared to vehicles such as the Nissan 350z and Chevy Camaro which don't even match up to the Mustang Cobra in price nor power.---------- Post added at 12:38 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:30 AM ----------I would love an old 1970 Boss 302 mustang.... I like many of the older mustangs in the 60's, and 21st century. The 2012 Mustang Cobra is what I'm really loving. I plan to get a Mustang Cobra in the next 5 years or so, so I'm quite jealous at your new Mustang GT ;P Mustang Cobra is 1 of my dream vehicles. The other is a Ford Raptor, but my 2004 Ford 4x4 Supercab F-150 that's all paid for will have to take place of that for now :3 Although I do want the V8 model of the Mustang Cobra rather then the V6. blackjack787 2 Posted January 10, 2011 They suck to drive honestly. They are awesome to drive! With the bass blasting and the tight cornering which they have. I have driven a mazda3speed and I was comparing the turning too my new mustang and I love the handling a lot more. Cons about the car is that the windshield is a little small.... but come on! It's a sports car!If you mean annoying to drive in other ways, give me your opinion and I will let you know, I would have to say that it is a little wide.http://www.subaru.com/vehicles/impreza-wrx/index.htmlAll I have to say to this is that it has horrible crash test rating' date=' and when they get older they fail emissions tests, and plus have a bad clutch system. The EVO is much better then this car. It can handle in any condition you would be in. Wet road, Snow, Dirt... etc, If you watch top gear they actually raced one down the side of mammoth mountain. Not to mention that this car is extremely annoying which tells people you are just trying to get attention. If we're now discussing what sporty cars are even more awesome than Mustangs...that is all.Best thing about this car is the fact that it has trick shift (only on the S version). Its way to small to drive for anyone who is 6' or bigger. And after driving a lot it gets very uncomfortable just like the EVO seats.

I simply posted the WRX because you said there was nothing performance wise that could touch your Mustang for the price. And whatever you've heard people talk shit about Subaru's, go drive one. I guarantee it will surprise you.
