Favorite Movie of All Time

This is literally the BEST movie I have seen in a long time. Film noir, mystery, with the cleverest dialogue of I've ever heard all wrapped up in a High School in California.

What you might say: "I just want to know who's going to kill me"

What the movie would say: "I just want to know who I need to bill for the embalming fluid"

I remember you complaining about Avatar not being original Longcat but this film is in my top tier of movies and I've only got 4 movies in that list.

Alien

Brick

Being John Malkovich

The Matrix

I just watched one minute into that trailer and had to stop it. I'm gonna go watch it now.

OT:

American History X

Shooter

Two movies I can watch over and over again and never get bored of them.

i've seen this movie, it's good, but i guess it was too "far-fetched" for me(?) they riddle it with slang, and as you said, clever dialogue. it felt more like a shakespeare attitude, if you ask me. still a good movie though...also it gave me the same "feel" as requiem for a dream

hard to pick a favorite (or a top 10 for that matter) (no particular order)

se7en

kids

shawkshank

american history x

don't be a menace to south central while drinking your juice in the hood

slumdog millionaire

Practically all Tom Hanks, John Wayne, and Clint Eastwood movies are excellent in my opinion. Adam Sandler is a fucking beast. End of story.

Top:

Forrest Gump

Dr. Giggles

Saving Private Ryan

Grand Turino

Any of the Above Mentioned Actors' Movies

Also Fight Club. Not to bandwagon here, but I always loved that movie when I watched it.

WHAT IS THE FIRST RULE OF FIGHT CLUB?

Currently I would say Law Abiding citizen. Or Ironman1 and 2. I like those currently.

You're quite current about things.

Some of my favorite movies would probably be:

Taxi Driver: Robert De Niro is fuckin' sick in it, Martin Scorsese directing

The Machinist: Christian Bale is a spectacular actor in my opinion

American Psycho: Pretty twisted and totally fuckin' awesome. Christian Bale is cool as tits.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas: Johnny Depp does an amazing job of mimicking Hunter S. Thompson, Benicio Del Toro is another one of my favorite actors. If you haven't seen it go torrent that shit, pretty wild.

My favorite movie is this sweet CGI noir called Renaissance. The main character is the guy who currently plays James Bond, and both art and storyline are trippy as hell.
