That's because it ties up ALOT of loose ends from all the other games, its actually a really complex story.

Game is vastly underrated. So many people write it off as being a giant cutscene, but all-in-all, I don't think I've seen a more well put together game. There're things I don't like about it, but I can't say it's not well-made.

all the naysayers are ignoring the fact that the game is known for it's cinemas. if you can't deal with a game that has one of the best storylines to date in a videogame (even better that some movies), than this is not for you.
