Alright ladies and gents, Halloween is around the corner and guess what time it is? A Warcraft 3 Halloween themed event! Over the past couple weeks our engineers and I have been planning and coding this event for you guys to enjoy. Be sure to give our engineers some Halloween fright as thanks. Without further ado, here are some of the event highlights that will be occurring for this event.


Rules

• The sG global guidelines must be followed at all times.
• Staff are not eligible to win prizes(SO’s can win prizes).
• You must have a forum account at www.joinsg.net and not be banned from the servers or the forums at the time of the event in order to be eligible for prizes.
• Do not attempt to loophole these rules, if you are caught doing so, you will be disqualified.
• Do not attempt to cheat or glitch the event.
• Any issues or questions can be sent to me.

Chat Commands

• pumpkins - Displays pumpkin count
• pumpkintop# or eventtop# - Displays the leaderboards

Pumpkin Collection Contest
For the duration of this event pumpkins will be dropped on death to be collected. They will also be given out occasionally upon a kill or assist, as well as by doing objectives. Top 10 players with the most pumpkins collected will receive a prize. You can see who has the most by saying "pumpkintop#" or "eventtop#" in chat. In addition to the contest these pumpkins will be used to unlock the event races.

Prizes:

• 1st place: Prize pool choice #1 and 20 banklevels
• 2nd place: Prize pool choice #2 and 20 banklevels
• 3rd place: Prize pool choice #3 and 20 banklevels
• 4th place: Prize pool choice #4 and 15 banklevels
• 5th place: Prize pool choice #5 and 15 banklevels
• 6th place: 15 banklevels
• 7th place: 15 banklevels
• 8th place: 10 banklevels
• 9th place: 10 banklevels
• 10th place: 10 banklevels

The prize pool contains: A $20 Steam game, a $10 Steam game, creating a race with an sG Engineer, a second race creation, and a third race creation.

Races
We will be releasing races for this event unlockable via pumpkin collection. These races can be found by using the changerace command as usual. Here’s a list of the races that will be released for the event:

• Grim Reaper - 25 pumpkins [1600 levels]
• Spymaster - 50 pumpkins [1700 levels]
• Banshee - 100 pumpkins [1800 levels]
• Goblin Alchemist - 200 pumpkins [1900 levels]
• Plaguebearer - 300 pumpkins [2000 levels]
• Paradox - 400 pumpkins [2100 levels]
• Stalker - 500 pumpkins [2300 levels]

Trick or Treat Voting
Every now and then a voting poll will come up asking what sort of treat the server wants. But beware, each treat comes with a chance of a trick that will have negative effects! These tricks and treats can do a variety of things for the whole server to enjoy:

Trick Examples:

• Lose a level on current race
• Movement speed reduced by 50%
• Health Decay
• Gain high gravity
• Everybody is a chicken

Treat Examples:

• 2000 Experience
• One free level in your levelbank
• Invisibility set to 85%
• Movement speed boost by 50%
• Gain Extra Sensory Perception
• Health Regeneration
• Gain low gravity

Candy Collection
Find hidden candy around the map for a random prize such as:

• 250 Experience
• 2 to 4 pumpkins, rare chance to get 10
• 20 hit points
• Speed boost
• Some cash
• Rare chance to get a banklevel
• Very rare chance to get 5 banklevels

1 vs. 1 Winner Rewards
Whenever there are two players left alive on opposing teams the winner will receive bonus pumpkins for the kill.

Invisibility works by taking the maximum value and using that. If your race gives you 95% invisibility and something else is giving you 85%, you'll use the better value.

Shopmenu Restrictions: No shopmenu allowed

 

Pumpkin - You are a pumpkin. (Gain 2500 hp, movespeed reduced to 50%, gain pumpkin model, always appear on radar for enemies.)

Great Pumpkin Vines - You send out your vines. (Nelf root with 15 second CD.)

 

This race is restricted completely and only appears during a random event round where each team gets one. Killing an enemy Great Pumpkin gets the whole team 4 pumpkins, and keeping your own Great Pumpkin alive for the duration of the round grants 4 pumpkins to your whole team too. The Great Pumpkin himself gets 4 extra pumpkins on top of the team reward for surviving a round. The person turned into the Great Pumpkin is based on who has the highest pumpkin count on the server or just random if that's too hard rip.

The trick or treat voting affects the whole server, so the 10 damage will not work for opposite team but that could be a overall thing that happens... poor lurkers.

They get minimum levels like all the other races. However, if you have enough pumpkins you'll still be able to play them without having the minimum level. This grandfather clause will last until the next event, whenever that is. Some of the new races will have pretty high minlevels after the event ends.
