Necrophenia 435 Posted August 2, 2012 So do they still take your money even if you dont get enough votes? If they do Google are going to make a killing on this vote system.
blob 1985 Posted August 2, 2012 You pay for the service, not the votes. 1 2 Archy, Sakata and Windmill reacted to this

Dojima 7619 Posted August 3, 2012 Gigabit's a little silly. It reminds me of when I had 7mbps back in 2000. 0% of websites could take advantage of it. Really the only point to it is if you want to use Google's shitty cloud storage service Drive. Since it's on their network, you'd probably get close to the full speeds. Even at 25mbps, I only get full speeds on the occasional torrent and NNTP.

Dojima 7619 Posted August 3, 2012 More is always better, but I'm perfectly happy with 25mbps. Now if they decide to make lower tier speeds for cheaper, like 100mbps for $20/mo, I'd be all over that.
iAlwaysFail 799 Posted August 3, 2012 I'd be torrenting all day everyday with this kind of speeds.. I only get 2-5mbps over here
