  1. As expected, your drawings are on point and thank you for fixing the race.

EDIT: Bulletford restricted the race already, but I was testing shadespawn with pancake thief on the server and noticed that he was dealing out massive damage. It turns out that even when I set my health to 10000, he was able to kill me in 2 hits with a glock to the foot. The first glock hit would hit me for 99997 and leave me with 3hp and the second hit would kill me. I tested this with multiple hp ranges and same thing kept happening, but that's about it. It probably has something to do with the viscious strike skill

  2. It's not even about age, it's about attitude. There are two players I can think of at the moment that are regulars on War3 and are legitimately a detriment to the server. I want to play the game less when they are on, because I know that I will have to listen to them. I can locally mute them each time, but even then, I can't talk to anyone else because whenever I queue my mic there's an 80% chance they'll be saying something that interrupts me to others, even if I can't hear it.

Something something... Gmod's TTT mic timer... something something.... incorporated into wcs.

  3. Its probably better to handle micspamming in general on a case by case basis rather than a blanket ban on children using the mic as one requires a little effort and the latter is unfair to those who follow the rules. There are some great people in this clan who are younger(ROFL, for example). I'd say its better to deal with the spam then alienate possible future players.
this is what I was advocating for. Not a blanket ban, but some sort of leeway when it comes to the younger crowd. Blanket bans are always a terrible idea.

  4. When it gets bad, I just throw up a vote to mute everyone for the rest of the map, it's my workaround.
Muting everyone? That's not a workaround, that's straight up abuse lol. Plus, you and I both know that when it comes to dealing punishment on a server, a vote is perhaps the worst way to go about it. Just look at the time when ghoul would get people vote banned just because the people that knew him on the server would ride his dick hard as hell on anything he said.

  5. I pride myself on not judging kids and their voices when they join on war3. I've met some pretty cool 12 and 13 year olds that when they talk, even though they are squeakers, they aren't annoying and the things they say are actually relevant and aren't so cringeworthy, but then you have people like Jesus kitty who simply cannot let go of his mic button and says the stupidest shit; he gets into petty battles with other players and the content of his speech is just atrocious. I really want this rule back as an option. This does not mean that I can mute Jesus kitty as soon as he joins the server, but rather if he gets to that point of annoyance, I can simply mute him.

  6. I've been saying like 2 years ago, to just about every single engi and staff member, that we need to either incentivize playing different maps or increase the map limit so that you can't play the same map every 2 maps.

Some ideas I was thinking of were:

    • play consecutively 6 different maps and for the 7th map, all cash gained will now be doubled( includes kills, defuses, even the money admins give out)
    • Map of the day: increase in either cash flow, reduce the shopmenu item prices on that map by 50%, maybe some double xp on the map of the day.

Do you guys like this or no? What problems do you see in something like this? I'm interested to see what you guys think. I personally believe if something like this were implemented on the server, map diversity and general server quality would go up.

  7. That first rule is a little vague and should read "You cannot be on any part above the upper half of the center dome on de_dust."

Flying on the white windows on the upper half of a dome, which you speficifically told me you were doing, is not allowed. I admit, Like I said, that rule needs to be more clear.

We also have the option to completely remove that first map specific rule, and just keep the rule where you cannot stand on pillars. I personally think flying inside the upper half of the dome should be allowed, I checked it out myself and it's similiar to flying above the silo's on bombsite B of icewerk (which noone seems to have a problem with)
