    If you read it closely you can see it shows maxed and unmaxed.


  2. The thing about shopmenu is it can be hard to balance. The disparity between Good Bad and Normal players is a long line. If you make shopmenu cheaper - sure it might encourage the normal playerbase to buy more stuff besides tomes, but then you create an issue where the higher end Good players will be even stronger because they will shopwhore easier. SInce they are now stronger, they will punce the other players quicker, easier, faster. Causing them to go back to just buying tomes cause they die and lose the item right away.

     

    Theres alot - alot more to balance then just this one example. But this example alone contridicts your original goal of having people use items more instead of tomes.

    While face is doing his final statement i will just say this. Transferring cash when your not abusing/going around any systems is not an exploit. You keep saying "Default exploit" But from what was told to me, no "Exploit" is there / was done.

    Which would still be loopholing, I only brought it up because of the amount of leveling that was happening because of that.

    Let me just re-iterate / be clear. If a person is going around a plugin / system we have in place to stop something and using it for gain that is not allowed.  This is completely different then "Giving your cash to your friend" Which is allowed.

     

    Im not relating this to anything that has happened / currently happening / etc - Im just saying right now

     

    Going around any system we have in place, for what ever reason, would be loop holing and punishment can happen.

  8. Jodas updated his  map once again! Good job on the quick updates!

     

     

    Updated do de_ww2_a2

     

    -Roofs blocked for 25 seconds (every round not just the first round, my fail)

    -Added bomb damage to a builduing on A ( from the bombers) Effects in your settings must be at high to see the fire.

    -Added a 4th ladder for non flying races

    -Removed 2 balcony's

    -Detailed an area at A more to fix pixelwalking

    -Detailed 2 buildings on the route to B 

    -Fixed a Prop not showing up

    -Fixed a stuck spot (after the same person jumped in there every round lol)

    -Blocked off the graveyard

    -Made a few props not solid to fix Pixel walks

    -Added a light to B

    -Changed the color of some props

    -Blocked all roofs for the first 20 seconds of the round

    -Closed off B

    -Added planes/bombers to fly over the map every 20-35 seconds

  10. Warcraft 3 Map Event Bugs, Fixes, and Suggestions

     

    To help the map creators who want to flesh out there map with fixes and revisions, please post in this thread the Map, and the bug in an orderly manner. I will then edit this main post to collect them all in one spot.

     

    Once confirmed changes/fixes are implemented i will add them.

    -Shifted T spawns to be in three different locations, each on separate sides of the maps to discourage CT's from going outside

    -Added a secondary spawn for CT's in the Front Entrance to allow for faster times to Bombsite A for them and to make rushing to Bombsite A and planting more difficult

    -Added 2 "Under construction" towers to the outside providing more cover to T's who are approaching the castle

    -Added a entrance from Water to Bombsite A with a Ladder and a drop down from Front Entrance to Bombsite A to allow for more verticality and a harder time holding the Bombsite

    -Added a entrance into the back of the Main Castle that is quite difficult to get into (Will fix in the next update)

    -Added Projector in Classroom showing the most important information in the map

    -Fixed getting stuck in barrels in Wine Room

    -Fixed getting stuck between boxes on Bombsite A

  11. - Can now cancel deathbringer respawn with +ability, however this still "uses" the respawn skill

    - Fixed a bug with the changes to the nomination menu causing crashes the last few days

    - Lobotomize now checks for ult immunity

    - Boots of unyielding should now stop bash

    - Bloody Dagger (Succubus Hunter) changed to magic damage instead of physical, dropped damage bonus from 30 to 15 since physical damage is halved by armor


  12. Personally again while i like the idea in general i don't feel like it will fit with the server. As face pointed out when you add expertise's with legendary s - and the amount of work that would be needed to do this - for the "benefit" of a chance at making certain things OP / People to complain. It doesn't seem like a good trade off  IMO.

     

    But i do like people having ideas and sharing for the wc3 server.

  13. While i can fancy the idea - i don't think "Hero races" in the sense of purposely overpowered race would be good here on our server. Despite what some claim - we do try and keep races somewhat balanced (Obviously cant be 100% as then everything is the same) but we like to keep as close to as we can while still keeping a nice flare and distinctness between races. Wile keeping things "fair" between races, it makes it so people who enjoy the competition can play and have fun and the server then (Mostly) more relies on skill and not race.  If we bring in "Hero Classes" Who are purposely overpowered, even if they are restricted in some way - it will ruin 1v1 fights. Everyone hates losing a 1v1 specifically because of some type of ability the race has - now multiply that for the hero race and people will be bitching more then they are now.

    On to the original message, most heroes (as normal races) would just be the race we already have but slightly tweaked. So any hero that as a race that is (Basically) already in the game isnt a good idea to make the hero.  To the heroes that currently do NOT have anything related to them in the game, sure - thats something we can use and go forth with that. But on that note id like to say i do already have some new stuff in the works, its just taking longer cause of a few reasons.

    If a flame pred manages to get through the vents because of the retardation of the T's , he deserves to kill those "Random pulled out of the ass 4 people" Especialy if those 4 people,  Considering how long it takes to get through the vent, even as a flame pred - and if no T did anything, he was lucky and good on him.

    A very T sided map with wc3 mod. People hate playing the map, and hate playing on CT. The rule is just not to sit and camp the vent, so to slightly take away from the dominance of the T side. It just makes it so there is at least a chance at entering the vent instead of "always avoid"

Where what do you know... suddenly your not in view of anyone else too! Sigh - The point is to make this a slightly more valid entry point. And not the death trap it is/can be. It just opens up more avenues of attack, making the game slightly different and more diverse with different tactics and/or strategies able to be used. Its a simple rule to follow, and opens up game-play.
