So someone thought it was a brilliant idea to make b-hopping extremely easy, and make it extremely easy to keep up your speed.
 
The only downside is now we run into getting to the enemy spawn in 6-8 seconds on Italy
On Militia it's possible to get from the house to CT spawn in 3 jumps... with the hostage
 
Basically the game has become a fuckfest of bhoppers, people who get rid of speed and then people who actually want to try to do something else but get shit on by the infected that's moving faster than old Fynhorn.

This csgo tournament is a good opportunity to showcase the new official Syndicate Gamers twitch page!

This will be used for any upcoming events that would benefit from a stream (CSGO Tourney, Poker Tourney, Golf with friends, etc)
 
The next announcement isn't finalized and I still have some stuff to work on before giving it a set schedule and starting the project but I'd like to use this twitch for an official sG Podcast as well which will be used as an outlet to talk about upcoming stuff that doesn't deserve a post but warrants being talked about, with other segments featuring guests (example: Beerman, Travesty.)
 
Okay here's the part most people came here for, the raffle details:
 
There will 2 big raffles: one after group stage and one before the grand finals
 
There's a current prize pool of 60$ as well as some skins donated by an anonymous member but the 60$ has yet to be divided up into smaller prizes as of right now.
 
You will only be able to participate in the raffle if you have played at least 1 game.
 
The raffle after the group stage will only be for people who played one game and did NOT advance past groups, the prizes will mostly be small prizes between $2-$10. This could be skins, cheap games, credits, admin.
 
The raffle before the grand finals with be for every person on a team who made it past groups and played atleast one game. Raffle prizes here could have any $ amount as I will mostly be using any prizes donated for this raffle.
 
There may or may not (donate prizes please.) be exclusive giveaway raffles done for the people watching on the twitch... ;D

A few updates today will have an impact on performance:
 
Navmesh should load faster client-side when connecting to a server.
 
Optimizations include both animal and deployable culling (player culling has been in place for months)  
basically this means your client isn't trying to render shit unless it is possible for you to see it.
 
Some sound tweaks related to distance- might get more details when the devblog hits to determine
which sound distances have been increased and which have been decreased.
 
Gameplay Changes:
 
Vending machines can be given names, which appear on the livemap/minimap 
Eoka pistol has been buffed Wooh!  Tighter spread makes the eoka possibly worth it on day 1 vanilla servers!
Muzzle break was nerfed. Less accurate, less velocity, less damage
The Heavy armor helmet now reduces vision regardless of settings (exploit of ignore hud option previously allowed free vision)
 
AI Tweaks
 
There is now a cone of sight for animals. This means you can sneak up on them, instead of them having esp hacks. 
Animals have stamina. They slow down and stop to regenerate.
Bears and wolves will be more aggressive.
Deer and boars will be non-aggressive until provoked (for reals this time...I think)
Chicken damage was nerfed.
