    no actually u do have a good point. i still wouldn't remove them under the suspicion that they aren't from the original creator but it does bring up the point that sometimes its a good idea to really do some research and track down the original author. who knows. the maker of westwood might have released some new unheard gems since!

    I agree. As a map dev I wouldn't want to see my maps decompiled for the sole purpose of removing stuff that I put in there as a signature. There have been many maps over the years I have fixed for sG and a few I recall having an abundance of pics and sigs to the point of being annoying, but it would be disrespectful to remove them so I left them. I've only ever removed audio signatures and chat spam, Ss these caused problems at the time. 

     

    still it's good to know you have some experience in mapping and are interested in it. we are always looking for more mappers.

    to be honest i haven't. the layout become very mazy and to big with small amounts of people on it. also other projects became more important to me and honestly I lost interest in ttt myself :/ it might be something i will pick up at some point again as it really could be playable if i sealed some holes and threw a game or two in there. however i have 4 projects right now, and i don't see me beeing done with those befor this time next year, rip. sorry :(

    About me: Many of you know that I've been here, well, a long time. Today is the day I make this gross open relationship I have with sG, official. Also staff are going ham with the members only shit and I am not to be left out! Anyways I'm a mapper for this community and thats what im turning into my career. I don't play on the servers as much as i used to but i'm on teamspeak almost every night, and I lurk discord too.

    Haha I make it sound like so much trouble but honestly it's because I have a few ideas on map features that might satisfy both sides of the argument. And those ideas are going to burn in my brain till I get them mapped out. ;)

     

    I'll start designing the map on thursday, it's probably going to be a little slow at first as I finish up this crossy_go map

    So how bout this... How bout I just make a map with games in it and we will try it? Lol all this back and forth of whether it will work, whether it will be fun, weather it will kill the essence of ttt... Fuck it! I'll just make one.. We can have it added for a week or two and decide after that. Only thing we will lose is a couple hundred hours of my free time ;)

    So I don't know if many of you have tried this or not but i am auto crafting my first ultimate solar panel. I just wanted to share because holy shit! Look at the resources I need for it! lol!

    It literally take hours for the auto crafter to combine all the materials. It also requires over 1mil bits to craft so i have 64k me crafting memory up the ass XD but hey! It was worth it!......or was it?

    This thing outputs 32k rf a tic. That a lot! Im not gonna lie! The best lava generator in the game only outputs 4k a tic. This single panel can power a quarry on speed 3 and all those processing machines for cooking the quarried stone and whatnot.. Buuuuuttttt ....... My reactor took a tenth of the time to make and a hundredth of the material, and it outputs a little over 200k a tic... So yah these things are shit... Why did I make it? Cause a fucking could! hahaha! Its one of those last challenges for me in mine craft and now I can say i did it! :D feeling great!

    Badbie, it probably was taken down by jason because no one was playing it anymore (or sky factory).

    I felt like playing another infinity server so I started playing on a hosted one (not related to sg at all)

     

    I have a little base and some shit in it, if you want to join me PM me and ill give you instructions

     

    thanks mark i might just join u on that either way! i am however going to see if i can get the world file from Jason. if he isn't hosting anymore i see no reason why he would want it. lol i desperately want to finish what i was doing. I probably put in like 200 hours collecting resources for it XD

    alright soo its been a while that this server has been online. i was working on a large project on there and haven't been able to get on there to work on it more. ive asked several staff member and have had no word on whether it can be restarted... with the length of downtime with no attention i have begun to suspect that the server has been abandoned. does anyone  have information on this?
