A quick easy to read diagnosis. You have one router that is connected to the Internet (WAN) on then your computers are connected to this router. Private addresses are distributed to your computers by dynamic host control protocol. (DHCP).
This is probably your current network setup.
Now with this second router, you don't want it routing or distributing addresses. It only needs to be a pass through for your initial router.
If you want I can remote in to set it up. $15/hr, $45 minimum.
