  1. Hey you know what? I guess I can say I actually deserve this. The post basically says it all, I didn't do anything good for this community. I acted like a complete faggot most of my stay here. But it was fun I guess for the most part.

I'd like to apologize to Vexer for the video, it was initially meant as a joke but obviously people didn't take it that way.

Thanks to the two staff members that voted to keep me but you guys were definitely wrong. I didn't deserve your votes one little bit.

But anyway, I'm gonna keep this short and sweet. Thanks, and goodbye yall.

very mature post. remember, you're not banned, you're just not a clan member anymore. I believe there is a timeframe where you can apply again if you so choose.

regardless, i respect the way you took this.

  2. the bottom line is, if you have a problem with another admin, regardless of how admin was attained, you report it. your assumption that an sg member is somehow more qualified is false. responsibility has nothing to do with clan membership. if theres a problem with a rank admin, report it, if theres a problem with a paidmin, report it. you should not be starting kick/slay/ban fights. dealing with an admin is the responsibility of staff. not rankmin/paidmin.

  3. Sooo the other day I was coolin on JB then tonne starts being a fail warden and freekills a bunch of people (I don't have evidence so I didn't report it) so I ask him to slay himself but he starts pulling bullshit rules of the top of his head. So I go to use my admin but I couldn't touch him cause he's paidmin. Personally I would trust people who been around in the clan longer rather than people who've paid. Plus it allows paidmins to be dealt with then and there rather than having to get evidence and post in forums and stuff. ayy lmao

Plus it allows paidmins to be dealt with then and there rather than having to get evidence and post in forums and stuff <--no.

what exactly makes you think you can deal with them without evidence? even SOs post evidence.. do you honestly think that if you kick/ban someone you're not just going to start a fight? paidmin also doesn't necessarily indicate that they are new. I was a paidmin for YEARS, since UV.

You shouldn't be having admin battles, clearly the guy wasn't understanding the rules, if there's a problem, get an SO or post evidence on the forum. even if you could kick/ban him, it's not the appropriate thing to do.

  4. Valued Customers,

Chicago has received several client reports of connectivity issues. Upon investigation, we have discovered what appears to be a problem with one of our edge routers. We are initiating emergency maintenance at this time so that we can perform disruptive testing in the interest of resolving the issue as quickly as possible. During this maintenance, clients may notice periods of interrupted connectivity and/or increased latency. Should you have any questions or need any assistance relating to this matter, please do not hesitate to contact our support team by creating a support ticket.

    Thank You!

in the case of you all, we are your support team, so reach out via steam or other means if you need anything. I will let everyone know when the issue is resolved.

  5. To be honest, after poking around a little more this isn't the only gaming community he's been perma'd on. He's caused some grief on a few different gaming servers. If he were unbanned, I think it should be on a 1 strike and out basis.. whether it be another MFK or any other offense that would get him banned he should only get one shot..

i dont actually see any other communities he's banned on aside from the sourceban's share bans and a mic spam ban (and one for being a fag, but most users here are fags, i dont think we ban for that). That being said, the only bans we have against him are a few fk/mfk bans.

@john, showing your steamID as STEAM_1:0:54168985

  6. P.S.   Sorry I was unable to get their steam ID's and any recording of it. unfortunately I assume that means nothing will happen but I figured it's worth bringing up just in case.

I'm unclear as to why you are wasting people's time with your inability to follow rules. typically in a post like this, some admin would tell you to review http://www.joinsg.net/topic/6595-protocol-for-reporting-an-abusive-player/ and report properly, you clearly state that you KNOW you are not following the CD rules in your post. You're right, no one will do anything for you unless you can find some other player to corroborate your story WITH evidence, which you should have done PRIOR to posting this ridiculous post in the CD.

I kicked you was the sole reason because you chose a game mode you KNEW would break the gravity of the map and even crash the server on purpose and saying "lets break the server", in all honestly I should have banned you,

If i find logged evidence of this, i will ban you.

If you want to act like a kid, that's fine, it's a game. Don't bring your BS to the complaint department though, at least not without showing a little diligence.

  7. so when since Surf event was extended?

i literally posted in the OP, in bold red text "I will keep you guys updated on what our specific time period will be."

god fucking dammit. Enough migrating for one year.

We don't control host migrations, but this one should work in our favor. nothing changes on our end, just some downtime, which we needed anyway, every server needs a reboot to apply some security patches I installed.

Hey that means I'll have playable ping on war3 again.... Hey Eddy....

maybe.. the server is still going to be in chicago, just moving facilities, if hopcount was your issue, or latency to the backbone in chi, your ping won't change.. we can hope though.

  8. End of Reality is announcing the upcoming migration of our Chicago facilities starting July 22nd, 2014.

All Chicago servers will be migrated to our new Chicago location; a higher-grade Tier-III and SSAE16 Type II accredited facility, this enterprise-grade facility offers increased power availability, access to additional upstream transport providers, a 4x increase in network availability, and improved environmental controls. Additionally, we will be implementing new core routing infrastructure from Juniper to ensure that the absolute best stability, uptime, and service quality is provided to you and your customers.

This posting today serves to let you know about the upcoming extended maintenance window related to servers located in our Chicago facility as a result of this consolidation. We will be physically migrating all servers located in the CHI3 facility to our new Chicago location starting from July 22nd, 2014 . Our team is currently reviewing the finalized logistical planning which will ensure a smooth transition; we expect that all servers will be moved and the consolidation will be completed by August 15th.

We will be contacting each client with services in CHI3 individually with a specific date of migration for any impacted servers on their account.

Starting July 22nd, we will begin the migration process. Each system will be powered down, transported to the new nearby facility by our engineers, and powered back up. We estimate that the process will take approximately 4 hours to complete for each server, although additional time may be required, and we ask that clients plan for downtime of up to 8 hours in case of unforeseen issues. The migration will continue each evening, beginning at 8PM Chicago Time (CDT), and ending each morning at 4AM Chicago Time (CDT) until all servers have been migrated.

I will keep you guys updated on what our specific time period will be.
