First off, retarded FOV, even if this was Quake. It's not the tick that makes bhops easy (althouh it helps) it's the high air acceleration and turned off stamina system. At times you struggled to stay above 250, so I doubt you would do too well in a server with default settings. Keep at it though, just bhop constantly and you'll eventually get good. Try Bhop and KZ servers.

Today on sG JB, we had multiple players with the name "Bill Murray" or something similar. Admins told us that players can not have the same name, and told us to change our names or be kicked. So after reading these...

I can not find this rule stated anywhere.
 
Another problem, some players (mostly Bill Murray) had [sO] in their name and were told to remove them by admins. [sO] is commonly associated with admins of sG, and so they could be accused of impersonating an admin. But I read all parts of the MOTD again, and I see no rule against this. But there is this line from the Global General Rules...
"Do not wear the sG | tags unless you have applied on the forums and have been accepted."
However, [sO] is not sG. If [sO] and similar markings are considered "sG | tags" then it should be stated more clearly.
 
Obviously, impersonating an admin and having the same name as someone else is problematic and SHOULD be against the rules. But it's not, and people who were kicked from JB today were wronged. The MOTD needs to be more explicit, or, in the case of the same name problem, at least mention names in MOTD anywhere at all.
 
Unfortunately, it seems that admins are making up rules, sound rules, but made up. This needs to be corrected either by actually following the MOTD or revising it... again : /. Of course, maybe some admins are hiding behind "Please respect your administrators and their decisions." from the Global General Rules as an excuse for making things up.

The first demo shows where Zed realizes it's Bastion and kicks him with "LOL", the second show the ban by Zach for what ever wocar said in admin chat.
I always record demos when Zed gets on, it's like all he does is abuse his admin when he's on. I don't like Bastion either, but I think he was treated unfairly.

I've always hated when I get freekilled a minute into the round and all that happens is that the ct gets slayed, this makes sense.
 
It was also painful to only allow 1 when there were multiple admins on (oh the confusion). Or if the CT just freekills them slays themselves. ("I'm already dead, you can't respawn him! trolololo!")
