    A lot of no votes and no real explanation as to why.

     

    If we can make a code solution, all the better. Unholy Paladin's ult is the only one that springs to mind as making it absolutely impossible to defuse. Shadow Hunter wards if stacked on the bomb will deal a ton of damage, 16/sec, meaning even with a defuse kit you're going to take at least 80 damage from them if they're right on top of the bomb. I'll leave it up to you whether that constitutes needing to be restricted or not.

    Two race-specific rules I believe would improve the server.

     

    1. Unholy Paladins may not place their ultimate on a planted bomb.

     

    2. Ahmed the Jihadist may not activate his ult in the first 15 seconds of the round on crackhouse.

     

    The second one goes back to crackhouse being a terrible map rather than a problem with Ahmed, but if it's going to stay that rule could alleviate one huge annoyance.

    I ignored that explanation because I assumed it was a joke. If it is broken, I apologize for assuming otherwise and drawing conclusions. The timing of it breaking is almost too perfect.

    Is cash necessary? No. Is it a "right"? Of course not. Should cash be on the server? I don't know.

    Does it hurt the newer players? Yes. Does it hurt players who cannot go positive without items? Yes, it essentially removes an entire element from the mod.

     

    Does it make sense to get upset on the internet when "no names" beg you for cash or say it's a right? No. I don't understand the "no name" mentality... reminds me of middle school. Everybody is new at some point.

    Dude was probably trolling you. When I first started playing I was going to basically spam ask for cash because a) why not and b) it's not like anybody should get upset at someone spamming chat at the end of the round, that would be pretty illogical. But someone in SG told me not to because I would never get cash if I asked. So despite my desire to spam the word cash in various ways (ca$h, de_cache, if on cache: cash4cache, etc) I did not. So I can easily see how you were just getting fucked with and couldn't just brush it off.

     

    In short, some no names came around and fucked with you because you probably were visibily upset about it, posted about it, and an engineer thought "Yeah, fuck those no names demanding cash" and now cash is gone.

    The cash command can come or go, I don't really care. I just think the reasoning behind taking it away makes no sense.

     

    I don't wanna interrupt the boys club though.

    Upset? Nah. Annoyed. I didn't even play on WCS, and I can say from the ~year this server has been up that I am sick of explaining how to bind your ult, I am tired of being chastised (And no, there is not a better word for that) for not giving cash, I'm bored of the questions people ask because they're too lazy to read the MOTD. I get it, reading is for nerds, whatever, but I damn well have a right to not want to bother.

     

    P.S. you're totally off base with why cash is gone anyway

    Is it even possible? I thought the idea was to not stop so as to not create an even greater advantage for the player in the air? 

    If you stop while in the air you can get that sick perfect accuracy which is bullshit

    Well for any class to be considered viable (imo) it needs to have mobility, I believe that LJ is a favorite amongst the community. I'm not sure if you can have it easily set to scale from 0-100% for every race % maxed, so have an end goal LJ such as Master Sniper and have it scale up to that where 100% is equivalent to Master Sniper, but that would be ideal. If not, then probably every 20%. Since it is a high level race, most people that reach it probably have most of the races maxed (unless they're super whores).

     

    If we can get the 0-100% scaling I think this would be really rewarding so you can play other races and still kind of "level up" another race on the side. Not going to lie, I can't think of anything fresh and sexy to add to this race but maybe the money spending perk could also be used to actually make a difference. As is, you spend up to 10k/round for very minor buffs and they don't even carry over into the next round which is really lame and you can't even shopmenu on the race which makes it even worse. The ultimate should have something more to offer such as getting a percentage of specific shop menu items such as $1000 gets you 10% of the enchanted chain mail effect and 10% of the boots of speed effect, etc...

     

    This sounds like it may be pretty complicated and I'm sure it is, but I'm open to anything that will increase the usefulness of this race, if anyone else has other suggestions add them to. I'm not the greatest at making races (except for the race "B-cock", that was the best race ever created).

    Not strictly, I'd say Wizard and Infected both have a viable role (see marzu's frustrating wizard) and they're both totally immobile (Infected considering that it's a knife race, is very immobile). Don't get me wrong, mobility is definitely super powerful, but a race can also achieve viability through other means. That being said, I'm not 100% opposed to New Game+ getting Long Jump.

     

    Here's an alternate idea though. New Game + gains Advanced Shop Whoring, all purchased shop items are x% more effective.

     

    Not saying your idea is useless, just offering an alternative as well.

    The height restriction is fine the way it is but if there is enough protest for it I will lower it another 10%. So make a poll if you really want to.

    I agree with this, the only reason I said maybe nerf it slightly is because Eddy thought so, I told him at the time it was fine.

    Tested this with Eddy, on an 18 wheeler on train. I couldn't hit him when he was on top of the truck and i was on the ground, but if i got on the tires i could. Maybe nerf slightly, but it's not extremely bad or anything.
