I just hit view new content I don't even go through the forum tree system. A lot simpler and you get to see all the new topics...

See the forums could look like this but be in only a few different categories.

 

You can basically catch up on everything in the 'View New Content' because there aren't a huge influx of posts each day.

Ideas and comments is where people also submit entirely new ideas unrelated to current servers. We shouldn't remove that. It is sometimes convoluted but it's always manageable

 

I agree. We could specify that it's Misc. Ideas and Comments.

This might just be me but I think there's too many subforums for the amount of posts that occur on these forums.

 

General Discussion could amalgamate into one subforum and fall under General Discussion.

 

Introductions and Recruitment could go under Community.

 

Ideas and Comments could be moved to their own respective subforum, JB, WC3, TTTGO, Surf, etc.

 

Strategy Division could be moved into a General Gaming (outside of General Discussion).

 

 

With this type of movement you wouldn't have to click in each subforum to see the new posts or ideas (see all the jailbreak ideas placed in many places within this website). It would all be in one place or few places to see what people have posted. I feel like a lot of the time people don't use the Follow Thread button and then post in a thread and forget about it. But if it's available to view immediately it might help them click that thread again and potentially create more discussion.

 

Making it more organized has instead made it more cluttered and harder to find new topics that might interest you.

 

 

Am I the only one that feels this way?

 

 

P.S. I currently have my profile settings set so that whenever I post in a topic, I automatically follow it so that I get a notification when there is a new post in a topic I posted in.

I just wanted to point out that this tournament requires at least 50 hours (2 days, 2 hours) of playing time on our servers. I noticed on your game.me profile that you only have 1 day and 6 hours played so far. You will need to play on our servers a bit more before you can sign up.

No worries though, you have more than a month before the tournament sign up deadline. Enjoy our servers some more if you have free time. Then you will be eligible!

On the topic of a speed bomb, I think that would be a sweet LR.

 

Similar to a timebomb or firebomb, what if it gave all players in that area of effect speed?

He's talking about the attributes you can get on those maps and if you can take them away. For example speed, if you get speed from the map, you can remove that speed on that player using the speed command.

There could be a stipulation that this command is only for rebellers on fd?

 

Let's say he has a normal freeday and gets speed from Papas Kingdom because he was rebelling and went into a vent. He's now at 200% speed.

 

Will !revoke take down his speed that he got from a vent? That wouldn't be right because we never gave him that speed in the first place.

This would be really handy.

 

 

Just FYI: if a person has a color (sonic, zombie, etc.), simply taking off the beacon will remove their coloring.

 

I find that easier than typing out the color command again.

I feel like some of you guys just don't know how to handle problems within the server.

 

 

Firstly, explain to Matthew that he talks to much and to let go of his microphone button. He shuts up. Secondly, tell the people that are picking on him to stop. It's basically like taking the preschoolers and putting them in opposite sides of the room so they can't disrupt each other. Take my own testimony because this has been 100% foolproof every time I've seen it.

 

Done. We move on and play the game. It's really not that difficult.

 

Also consider asking a question as to why they're doing it. Usually by that point they'll think to themselves, "Yeah, why am I doing this?"

 

 

 

I agree with Yunki for the most part but Matthew also needs to be put in his place as well. Kid needs to learn that saying, "Mom, he's bugging me!" is not going to solve his problems. He needs to find a way to grow some tolerance and ignore people.
