I remember as a kid when there were shows about broccoli and vegetables apparently tasting bad, until when I actually tasted them. I can never stopped eating them now. They’ve also helped me with my health.

Are you implying companies will still kill animals and making them into meat products even if people stop eating meat?

The only way they'd stop is if literally everyone stopped eating meat, and that's just not a thing that's going to happen.

And the companies keep finding more efficient ways of producing more meats so just think of how much gets tossed from going bad.

People have eaten meat since cavemen were wandering the earth, and people will continue to eat meat until 1) The end of time or 2) we run out of  animals to eat... Which I believe is a totally possible occurrence
