Mouse and Mouse-pad

Recommended Posts

I'm looking to buy a new gaming mouse and mouse-pad. I would like to stay under the price range of 250$ but i'm willing to go a little over if necessary. I prefer wireless mouses but if there is a good cord one then I would still be happy. I don't really care about what kind of mouse-pad.

I meant for both of them

that still too damn high!

I think you mean under $100 or more less than that

I currently use this mouse, bought it when it was on sale though ( I think? I don't remember)

and I use this mouse pad that I have for years

So we could shit talk this post, or we could actually give input on this generic question we get once a month.

G700S gaming mouse or death adder.

QCK+ mouse pad or a amazon basic mouse pad.

Or whatever you want to buy.

Please don't spend $250, max $150 for a good set up.

Anything over and you are being extremely silly.

Mouse I use, dont really use the buttons on the side, but very comfortable imo - https://www.razerzone.com/gaming-mice/razer-naga-epic-chroma (130$ +tax)

Mouse pad i use - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NOD0GX6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (17$ + tax)

I wouldnt really recommend getting the naga mouse since there are other mice that are more cost efficient, but the mouse pad is great for games like csgo

I personally LOVE Zowie mice. No drivers required its plug and play. Honestly though its all preference it helps to go into a microcenter/frys and feel out different mice.

I like extended mouse mats, ones that make the surface of my desk look nice while my keyboard and mouse sit on it.

I currently have this one from corsair: https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Gaming-MM300-Anti-Fray-Extended/dp/B01798VS4C/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1499641318&sr=8-1&keywords=corsair+mouse+mat

But there are just pure black ones: https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Gaming-MM300-Anti-Fray-Extended/dp/B0149QBQE4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1499641318&sr=8-1&keywords=corsair%2Bmouse%2Bmat&th=1

There are many more out there if you are interested in other designs or color schemes.

For a really nice wireless mouse the MX Master 2S just came out although the price is a little steep at $100

https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Wireless-Cross-Computer-Control-Sharing/dp/B071YZJ1G1/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1499641465&sr=8-3&keywords=mx+master+2+logitech

The previous version (Mx Master) is also very good while also being cheaper at a cost of $64

https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Master-Wireless-Mouse-Computer/dp/B00TZR3WRM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1499641534&sr=8-1&keywords=mx+master+2+logitech

Ive only heard good things about these mice, if you want you can look up reviews on them.

Is it there a website where you can put your own design on a mouse-pad. I think that would be neato

How hard is it to google search this? Legit walmart.com lets you do this. https://photos3.walmart.com/category/179-mousepads?

All I had to do was google "Mousepad maker"

If you're looking for an XL mouse mat, nothing better than this for price/quality; https://www.amazon.com/Reflex-Lab-Extended-Stitched-Waterproof/dp/B00WY1BMDM/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1499644245&sr=8-2&keywords=reflex+lab+mouse+pad

As for mice, if you're going wired then my recommendation is the G502: https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Proteus-Spectrum-Tunable-Gaming/dp/B019OB663A

If you want wireless, pick your poison, but I generally use a G602 for everyday stuff at work and light gaming when I don't want to deal with cables. There's also the fancy new charging mat that logitech has, but it's expensive as fuck and very small

why are you being a jerk about it? xD

I use the G403: https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Prodigy-Gaming-Performance-Sensor/dp/B01KUAMCV4

You can get it in wired or wireless, but I use wired because I have an old 700s for when i'm on my PC in bed.

If you're talking gaming I'd go optical, even though some people prefer laser. I used to use laser and had no idea how much better it was with optical until I switched, but its all up to you.

I use a Qck: https://steelseries.com/gaming-mousepads/qck

As long as you aren't using a piece of cardboard, mouse pads are pretty similar.

I personally have the Logitech G9 Mouse (along with the G19 Keyboard and G930 Headphones (if I was to buy the headphones again I would go with the corded or ones that have wireless charging because plugging them in takes like 5 seconds and I always forget) )

I personally like the G9, it has adjustable weights and grips.  2 buttons on the side, scroll wheel tilt buttons, and adjustable DPI that are easy to hit while gaming (but not so easy you hit them by accident).

Just a little note, I do not suggest buying that mouse. It's not the best, and i was on a budget when i bought it back in January. It surprisingly has not broken yet tho.
