AMD Threadripper & Epyc

A thread to talk about these two new lines of CPU from AMD. The two videos below are full of unconfirmed info, but it's interesting to think about. What are you guys' thoughts on these? Just throwing it out there that i'm not building another machine this year.

 

The info for Epyc is fucking insane... 32 core 64 thread chips... x2 for the dual-socket motherboards. Can't wait to see if AMD confirms this info or not.

I love to see AMD wrestling their way into the market. Personally I dislike both NVIDIA and Intel due to their pricing/performance which haven't changed nor improved in the past decade it feels like. While AMD have always been at a much better price/performance ratio which is why I will be an AMD fanboy.
