So I need a VPN

And I'd like a free one with no limit to bandwidth. Speed doesn't matter to me, as long as I don't have to make a new account every 50 MB of data, that's fine with me.

 

I've tried my luck with maybe 5 or 6 different VPN softwares, some flat out didn't work, some weren't even configured so they requested that the user do it themselves, and others just were flat out too complicated for my level of internet/protocol expertise.

I'm kind of confused in what you're using it for, but if you're looking for a free one typically "if it's free, the product is you" applies. So chances are they go through your history and sell it, if you're okay with that then one of the ones above will work. If you're not okay with that, then chances are you're going to have to pay for one. If you're going to pay for one there are ones that keep logs, and ones that don't. Pick which ever one you are comfortable with but it is harder to find one that doesn't keep logs or keeps very minimal logs.

 

My suggestion is to find a cheap VPS and do your own VPN if you're comfortable doing so, there are a lot of scripts and guides online telling you how to do so.

Lowendbox has a lot more options from various companies or you can go with the big one (OVH) and stick with a big company. Do note, that all these VPS's have varying degrees of support. More than likely they will NOT set anything for you (besides the OS of the VPS). If you're looking for a Linux OS to go w/ on OVH, I would recommend going with Debian just due to how many scripts and such are available for it. I personally had a little trouble w/ OpenVZ and other OS's like it, but that could have been due to inexperience.

 

Edit: You would only need the cheapest VPS option on OVH (50GB SSD, 100mbps, Unlimited bandwidth)
