Is anyone good with VTF edit??? [SOLVED]

So i am trying to make a custom spray with my name that will pop off of the wall. It uses a lot of RGB and the png file looks like shit when i put in VTF edit, does anyone know of any fixes?

But this is what i get in VTF edit:

 Well maybe the file is just corrupted then

Make sure ur photo is 256 by 256, (windows go to paint)

then click file and import your photo (when u import it with the right Size, a page should pop up) 

The setting

Normal Format: DXT1

Alpha : DXT5

Texture: Animated Texture

Mipmaps Check is off on Generate MipMaps

Resize is checked off

Normal Map (generate Normal MKap) checked off

Then go back to file and Save as ....

You need to resize the photo to 256x 256
