first thing i ever crowd funded and it just arrived today. ive had it running for 30 mins or so and it already cooled my room by about 5 degrees (its usually like 80 degrees in my room) and it's helping to keep my laptop cool. already love this thing.

This has been around for a while, just in a large version. My co-worker has one at work. Dump icy water in, turn it on, ???, cold air comes out

 

Works sorta like an air conditioner but instead of refrigerant, cold water is pumped through the evaporator core.

the only issue i have with it is that i dont think there is an on or off switch so i just have to unplug it when im sleeping or whatnot. its not reallly a big deal, i still love this thing my room has never been this cool in the summer time.
