Weird gmod mute prob?

Not sure it can be fixed by when ever I play gmod and if I accidently hit the mute button on my laptop, I lose sound and have to restart comp because it wont come back on. Any ideas?

Yeah dawn same problem over here i hit my mute button on accident and sound doesn't play through or its just really low

Have you tested it on other games as well? It may not be a problem with Garry's Mod but with the mute function on your laptop.

So any game i play if I hit mute I lose soind and have to restart comp. Odd thing though is if I hit mute and im not in a game I can hit the unmute and will get my sound back.
