Pike 396 Posted September 30, 2015 I'll start with probably the simplest great tasting thing I know how to make. Salsa Chicken (because of the 2 ingredients in it) 2 Cups of salsa 1 Pound of chicken (Breast, Thighs , Whatever you like)Optional - 1 tsp hotsauce Put all ingredients in slow cooker and cook for 6-8 hours adding water if needed.Once cooked pull apart with a fork and serve with what ever you like, Tortilla's , Rice, Beans. Homemade Tomato Soup 4-6 medium size tomatoes1/4 of a onion3-4 gloves of garlic1 tbsp of olive oil 3ish cups of water or stock of choice Cut tomatoes in half and put on roasting dish along with the onion and garlic(uncut but skinned).Coat vegetables with olive oil and bake at 350 until caramelized. Once cooked add it to a soup pot and add water/stock until just covered. Cook until it comes to a boil then blend it until it is smooth with no chucks. If you with you could strain it but it not necessary. Continue to simmer until it is the right consistency for you, if to thick add water. It is then ready to serve with what ever you like; grilled cheese(Toastie), crackers.
Mark from Facebook 1285 Posted September 30, 2015 Homemade pan pizza 1 Flour TortillaAs much cheese as you likeWhatever sauce you like ( I normally make mine with a barbecue base sauce instead of tomato sauce.)Whatever you want on top of the pizza, literally. Put a little bit of Olive oil on a skillet, take it to the stove until the oil gets hot, throw your pizza in there and then cover it up with a lid on a medium fire. Leave until cheese melts and tortilla gets hard, put it on a plate an enjoy. Edit: Piplup cooked it and he said he burned his shit because he cooked it for too long - Best for cooking around 30-40 seconds and it should be fine. Faded 266 Posted September 30, 2015 Pan Seared ChickenSeason raw chicken with salt and pepper, if you have other spices available like chile pepper, garlic, or Italian Seasonings add that as well. Warm a skillet and add a little olive oil. Sear both sides of the chicken, until the whole outside has turned from pink to white. Throw chicken and skillet into a preheated oven, 400 F, and let cook all the way through. Use a meat thermometer or cut open to check for complete cooking. You can serve this chicken over a salad, pasta, or with veggies for an easy meal. You can also skip the searing portion and just start it in the oven, but searing it helps lock in the juices so I recommend it. Taboo 2392 Posted September 30, 2015 Korean fried chicken: Ingredients Chicken wingsCornstarch, salt, and pepper mixture1 tbsp of minced gingerCanola oil Coat chicken wings with salt, pepper, and ginger. Then dip one by one in cornstarch mixture, deep fry for about 12-15 minutes in canola oil. Take them out, let them rest on a cooling rack for 10 - 15 minutes. Deep fry again for about 10-12 minutes until they are super crispy and golden brown. While you are double frying them, make the sauce. Ingredients4 cloves (or more) of minced garlic1-2 tablespoons of Red chili flake (or as much as you like) 1/4 cup soysauce (Add more if you feel like it's salty enough)1 tablespoon brown sugar1/2 cup of honey (or more if it's too salty)1 tbsp white or rice vinegar1 tbsp sesame seeds1 tbsp sesame oil or 2 tbsp cooking oil Add oil to a nonstick skillet or pot then garlic and red chili flake and cook till fragrant (about 30 seconds).Add all of the liquid ingredients to the pan and stir with a wooden spoon (Protip: never use a metallic utensil on nonstick cookware, it'll rip up the nonstick coating)Let the sauce simmer (until it bubbles) for a bit. Then add brown sugar and keep stirring. When all of the ingredients are combined, take it off the heat and set it aside. When your wings are ready, reheat the sauce then dip them in the sauce mixture while they're still piping hot. Plate your coated chicken and then garnish with sesame seeds. This is what they should pretty much look like: Credit to Maangchi for amazing KFC kek Thai Linguini: IngredientsChicken breast, cut into cubes. (Probably half a chicken breast per serving)Linguini pasta (A 1 lb box usually feeds 2-4)1 tbsp minced ginger5-6 cloves of minced garlic1/4 cup soysauce1/4 cup honey1/4 cup peanut butter3 tbsp rice vinegar2 tbsp Sesame oil1-2 tbsp Sriracha or Chili garlic sauce1 - 2 stalks of scallion1/2 cup of raw or salted peanuts. Make a pot of boiling water, add salt. Add pasta and follow the cooking directions on the box for al dente (usually 9-10 minutes for linguini) While water is boiling, prepare your chicken breast. Either butterfly the chicken breast or tenderize it with a meat hammer/rolling pin and hammer it thinly. Then cut the chicken into 1 in. cubes. Salt and pepper on top then set aside. Also start cutting the scallions into little circles. Take a large enough bowl or saucepot and add in your peanut butter and soysauce. Mix until combined. Then start adding your other liquid ingredients. If the mixture is too thick, thin it out with water. If it is too thin, add more peanut butter or honey. Add 1 tbsp of sesame oil to the mixture. Get a nonstick skillet, add in 1tbsp of sesame oil, 3/4th of your scallions, garlic, and ginger and cook till fragrant. Add chicken and cook till they're all white on the outside. Your pasta should be ready by now, so drain it off and leave it aside. Save the pot you used to boil water, add in your sauce mixture, peanuts and the cooked chicken and thoroughly coat everything. On medium heat, let the pot reach a simmer, then add your cooked pasta to the pot and mix again. Plate your pasta, garnish with the remaining scallions and enjoy. It should look similar to this: Feel free to substitute any protein, add in vegetables, or garnish with beansprouts. Pan-seared Salmon: Ingredients Buy salmon fillets that are boneless but still have skin on top. Olive oilLemonSalt and pepper. Take your salmon fillets, wash them, then score them with X marks on the top of the skin. Generously sprinkle salt and pepper all over your fillet. Heat a pan on high heat with olive oil and then put your salmon on skin-side down. You'll want to hear a really good sizzle when it's on or your salmon is going to be soggy/greasy. Cut lemon into slices, then place on the skinless side of the salmon. Leave the skinside down for 3 minutes or until it's crispy, then remove the lemon slices and flip it to skinless side down. You'll be able to see the doneness through color, so it'll be done when the salmon is mostly white on the outside. Also be sure to sear it on it's sides as well for even cooking. Remove salmon from the pan and onto a paper towel or dripping rack, plate and garnish with lemon slices. Serve with asparagus, mashed potatoes, rice or any other vegetables. Throw in minced garlic, as well as the hemp seed -- if desired, and cook until it starts to get brown. Place kale into pan and add the lemon juice. Chicken with Red Wine Sauce Ingredients1 tablespoon olive oil 1 tablespoon minced garlic3 chicken breasts1 tablespoon paprika1 cup brown sugar1 cup red wine DirectionsHeat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Sprinkle chicken with paprika and 1 cup brown sugar. Pour red wine around chicken. Cover, and simmer about 15 to 20 minutes; lightly baste chicken with wine sauce while cooking. Joscal 339 Posted October 1, 2015 Mexican Turkey Gravy1lb of ground turkey1 can of rotel1 can of mushrooms or fresh mushrooms sautéed1 can of cream of mushroomCumin, salt, pepper, cayenne, minced garlic, and possibly a small amount of thymeBrown the turkey with perhaps a small portion of olive oil and minced garlic.Add other ingredients. Add a few dashes of the spices but only a pinch of thyme. Bring to boil, then simmer for 5-8 minutes.Eat with mashed potatoes. Homemade are better. Also got a recipe for Cajun spice that I will post if I can find it.We pretty much put that on almost any generic cut of meat and throw it in the oven for low effort meals. Cajun Spice 1/4 cup salt (60mL)1 & 1/2 Tbsp Minced Garlic (22.5mL) *Should use the dry stuff1 & 1/2 Tbsp Paprika (22.5mL)1 & 1/2 Tsp Crushed Red Pepper (7.5mL)1 & 1/2 Tsp Thyme (7.5mL)1/2 Tsp Oregano (2.5mL)1 Tsp Cayenne Powder (5mL) Grind until fine powder. We usually make double this recipe as we go through it so fast.

Add one chicken bullion cube5. Add one cup of rice6. Switch to low heat, simmer, with lid on, till rice becomes soft and fluffy.7. Salt to taste Great cold/flu soup, I like to add a little sriracha and black pepper to it. You can also add chicken or beef, with veggies, for a stew. Just cook the meat, add it to the pot, add veggies and simmer till they're soft.
