How do you add gifs and other media into your sig?

I'm trying to put a gif file into my sig. Not sure how to do that. I've checked the help files and some othe places, shouldn't there be a button that lets you upload stuff from your computer? I put what comes up when I try to edit my sig as an attachment, what should I use to upload gifs?

Under the smily face there is a small picture. Click that and paste the link to the picture. BOOM YOU HAVE A GIF SIG

No, at least not with signatures or really anything. If you add it via your files it'll show up as downloadable. Besides, it's easier to get the link.

could use the forums, but not many people upload it to the forums.

 

it's probably better to use imgur, or push, or whatever image uploading site you prefer
