Unturned Server Rules

At all times the rules of the sG Unturned Server must be followed. If found breaking any of the rules you may be subject to the discipline listed or the discretion of the admin handling the situation. The sG Global Guidelines must also be followed at all times. Do not attempt to loophole any of the rules listed below or within the Global Guidelines.

Using Multiple Accounts/Survivors

If found using multiple accounts, you will be permanently banned. You may use multiple survivors, but if you are found exploiting the system by switching between survivors during combat or to raid a base you will be permanently banned.

 

 

Hacking

If found using any type of hacks in game will result in a permanent ban from the sG community including the Unturned Server. We may allow you to be unbanned for a fee, but included with the fee must be a sincere apology accepted at staff’s discretion.

 

Hacking includes any program or manipulation of games files to provide any type of difference from other players or the server. Examples: ESP(wall hacks), aim-bots, auto-clickers, and any type of scripts.

 

Exploiting/Glitching

An Exploit is defined by us, but is not limited to anything that either abuses game mechanics or in-game bugs/glitches to provide a way to kill or raid players, access towns, avoid death, or to get past barricades/structures/map borders. If found using a known exploit/glitch for any reason the following punishments will be administered for abusing the same Exploit/Glitch: Warning>2 Week Ban from the sG community>Permanent Ban from the sG community.  

 

If found using an unknown exploit/glitch you will be asked to demonstrate the exploit and then told to not do it again. If you refuse to demonstrate it to an admin/staff you may be banned for up to 2 weeks and on a second offence permanently banned from the community. If found using an unknown exploit without ever notifying any admin/staff you may be banned immediately.

 

In Unturned 2.0 it is allowed to shoot through shutters if they are not render for low-end computers or by using low graphic settings.

Raiding/Base Stealing

Raiding is not Griefing and we define Raiding as attempting to steal a players items or base. Raiding is 100% allowed on our server. To raid a player you may break an entrance/exit into their base and break their storage containers to collect their items. Once you have an inventory with no more space or have no more desire for anymore items you should no longer break a players storage items.

 

Breaking respawning structures such as beds is allowed to prevent players from respawning to kill you. Players should not be breaking anything that does not need to be broken while raiding. If there is a public entrance or opening to allow you to enter and exit you should be using this and not creating a new entrance/exit in anyway. If there is no public entrances then you may break into a base to gain access. The damage you cause should be limited to just enough to get in. You must only break the minimum amount of structures to gain access (doorway, door, platform, wall, shutter, gate, window, etc.). Once inside the same rules apply you should only be breaking the minimum amount of structures to go from room to room.

 

You may attempt to conquer another player’s base, but this does not allow you to grief it. If you intend on taking over a base you may replace all the entrances and exits with your own barricades (doors, shutters, gates). You may also block of certain entrances by removing the windows and doors and replacing them with walls or other structures. You may not completely seal off another player’s base (no entrances/exits) and then claim you have taken it over. You may not fill up the base with barricades (barbed wire, fences, etc.) and explosives and then consider that taking over the base. You may leave traps in a players’ base, but keep in mind it must be considered trapping. Placing a few landmines around or in someone’s base is fine. While raiding a base you may build/use your own public/private storage to store items during a raid by placing them in or around the base you are currently raiding.

 

You may also place barricades down to block off entrances, while raiding, but this should be to stop players from disrupting your raid and not to grief the player’s base. For example, placing a wall at a doorway or placing 1 or 2 barbed wire down at a doorway to prevent them for stopping you from raiding is fine.

 

 

Racism/Harassing

Racism is considered anything that targets a specific person’s race to discriminate or insult them and includes, but is not limited to racial slurs. The punishment protocol is the following: Warning>1 Day Ban from the Unturned Server>1 Week Ban from the sG Community>2 Week Ban from the sG community>Permanent Ban from the sG community

 

Harassing a player is when you continuously insult/troll/flame a player beyond trash talking and joking around. The punishment protocol is the following: Warning>2 Week Ban from the sG community>Permanent Ban from the sG community.

 

These rules apply to anything said over the mic, chat, notes, or any other writable item/structure in-game.

 

Combat Logging

Combat logging is defined as logging out to avoid death or combat. If you are being actively pursued or being fired upon then disconnecting to avoid this is not allowed. If you are raiding another player’s base and log out to avoid dying while raiding this falls under the combat logging rule. Using the logging out mechanic as a way to not die or to be in combat on our server is a very serious rule.
