So, my provider is possibly metering my household's internet.

...if you have metered internet it will be on your bill

We had been going over our ridiculously low volume of 120GB every month and paying much more every bill that Videotron was all, "Hey, for 10$ a month more, we'll just remove your cap so you don't end up fucking yourself over," and all was fine then.

If you do have a limited volume, it will show up on the bill, separated by the regular monthly fee and the extra charges based on over-usage.

Do you mean they are metering it, then throttling you secretly when you go over a certain limit?

I know for a fact Comcast does this shit.

Ya, that's what I meant. They seem to be throttling the fuck out of it without saying anything about it on our bill. That's the only reason anyone of us can think of as the reason why our internet rocks for 2.5-3 weeks than is abosolute shits for 1-2 weeks.
