1948 Chevy Fleetmaster

Recommended Posts

Ahh the love of my life.

Engine is seized, interior needs some cleaning up, and the chipmunk in the backseat needs to find a new home...

Anyways im working on breaking the engine this year, im putting some lube into the cylinders and tryin to rock it. It didn't work last time, but im sure it needs more lube ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

If anyone has some tips on working on old cars please reply! I need all the help I can get haha!

Cheers!

Small block chevy's and th350 transmissions are dirt cheap and are everywhere. Parts are very cheap and easy to work on as well. Check your local craigslist section. What kind of engine is in it? I'm thinking maybe a straight six or something like that.

You gonna get another 6 cyl, or are you going with a small block? You'd probably have to switch transmissions though..

Anywho, I hope you enjoy it man
