Ubisoft Locked Tons of Graphics Options on PC Watch_Dogs

This is ridiculous. They had all the effects from previous E3 trailers locked and hidden away. It seems that most of the effects either work fine or just required minor tweaking on the modder's part. Ubisoft intentionally locked these features, so that they could say the console versions were running at higher settings.

 

Oh, and they also hid away optimization options and stuttering fixes. Now, you guys know why the game runs so poorly.

seriously. Ghost and I couldn't drive on Ultra settings because it would randomly stutter and throw our framerates from 50+ to 10-15 randomly.

I remember watching the meta score on steam drop from low 80s to the current position of 78. Interesting but isn't modding not supported by Ubisoft?

It ran fine on my laptop, even on ultra, save for a few stutters here and there. However, I'm more worried about the control: the driving was a bit too 'much' (if ya catchin' ma drift) and the drinking game is just impossible on a keyboard.
