Our engineers are excited to bring you guys the first of many Warcraft events for 2014! They've spent many nights coding for the past few months and now, after countless hours of bugtesting, we're gifted with a flood of new races to play. Our event will start at 11:00 p.m. central on May 22 to the night of May 30th.
For this event, we'll be releasing new races, have a ton of objectives to complete for rewards, and of course as always our double exp booster will be turned on for the entire duration. A ton of levelbank levels to be earned and double exp means it's a great time to get interested in the mod if you're not already a regular on our server.To spice things up, our main event will be:
 
Squad Wars!
Get together with up to 2 other players and rack up the kills through whatever means necessary (exploits and bug abuses don't apply). Tag up with a new clan tag and climb your squad to the top of the gameme scoreboard. The tracker isn't working as we want it to be, so we'll manually track clan kills at the end of the event. The squad with the most kills by the end of the event will win the grand prize. Squad teams will have to designate a team leader, simply to make it easier for communication purposes (posting squad team members, receiving rewards, etc.) You may create the clan tags now but please do not put them on yet, as kills will start tracking and we wouldn't want that. Once you've got a squad, post its info in this thread.
 
Of course we'll also have side challenges and feats for individuals, which you can also complete on the way of racking up your clan kills.
 
 
Challenges: For those of you who like individual prizes, here you are! The first person to achieve and report in for each of these tasks is the only winner for these.

• Massacre : Acquire the most kills throughout the duration of the event.
• Mass Freekill : Acquire 50+ kills on one map.
• Allstar : Attain at least 8 MVPs on one map.
• Defusal Master : Defuse a bomb when there are still at least 5 terrorists alive.
• Hostage Wrangler : Rescue a hostage when there are at least 5 terrorists alive.
• Fast Leveler : Be the first to level any 4 lower level new races up to max level. This consists of Frost Giant, Judge of Altana, Granthad, and Unholy Paladin.
• Fast Leveler Mastery : Be the first to level any 4 higher level new races up to max level. This consists of Berserker, Duelist, Siddhartha, Professor X, and Gargoyle.

Feats: These aren't player exclusive, so each feat can reward more than one person.

• Monster-kill : Acquire a monster kill (10 kills).
• Top fragger : Acquire 40 kills in one map.
• Bounty - Bag n Tag : Screenshot one of your kills on the same person 10 different times. You are free to choose your bounty target.
• VIP Bounty - Bag n Tag : Same objective as above, except you must target a player in the top10. Completing this feat will also complete the above feat.
• Rifle Master : Have the most kills for the day with either an M4A1-S, M4A4, or an AK (you pick which one, but only that one will count) 3 different times during the course of the event. The days do not have to be consecutive (i.e. Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday.)

And for everyone else who don't want to compete with all those higher leveled players, we haven't forgotten about you either! To help you out, we're giving everyone a level in their levelbank for every 10 kills they acquire throughout the course of the event (capped at 100 levels.) Level those races up! We've also got a variety of ways to get onto some raffles for some easy extra levelbank levels.
 
Raffle Tasks: Each bullet has it's own prize pool.

• Acquire a score of at least 100 by the end of a map.
• Have at least a 2.0 kdr at the end of the match on the following maps (each map has its own raffle pool):

• cs_depths
• de_losttemple_go
• de_gwalior_workshop_rc1
• cs_reef
• de_stadium

• *Bonus Raffle* Acquire a 4.0 kill-death ratio with at least 20 kills.

Prizes:
 
Squad Wars: Each member of the squad will get the opportunity to work with our engineers to create their very own race to be put onto our server. Engineers will adjust and tweak races as they see fit for balancing purposes. Winning squad members will also receive a special War3 event badge* for their forums account, as well as 50 levels added to their levelbanks.

Each member of the squad will also get to choose from a pool of 4 games. The fourth game will be rewarded to the bonus raffle winner. These games are:

 

-Guacamelee! - donated by Drunkula
-Duex Ex Human Revolution (Directors cut) - also donated by Drunkula
-Magicka - donated by Ctark
-Outlast - donated by Bulldog

*Forums badges will only be rewarded to community members, SO, and staff. Special thanks to Camelfun for these.
 
Challenges: For each challenge completed, players will receive 30 levels in their levelbanks.
 
Feats: For each feat completed, players will receive 20 levels in their levelbanks. (This means a potential maximum of 100 levelbank levels)
 
Raffles: Each raffle pool winner will receive 30 levels in their levelbanks. Players cannot win more than one raffle.
 
Bonus Raffle: In addition to the normal raffle prize, the player winning this raffle will get to work with an engineer to create their very own shopmenu item. Of course, for balance reasons the item may be tweaked/adjusted before being properly introduced into our server. In addition, the bonus raffle winner will receive the leftover game reward from the Squad Wars prize pool.
 
Exp Bounty: Gain 1 levelbank level for every 10 kills gained during the course of the event, given at the end of the event (up to 100 levels.)
 
Rules:

• The sG global guidelines, along with the Warcraft 3 server rules, must be obeyed at all times during this event.
• Players are not allowed to boost for any of the objectives (E.G. having a friend let you kill him to earn kills in the server.)
• Staff members are not eligible to win prizes, but are welcome to participate. SO’s are eligible to win prizes. Testers are not eligible for the "Fast Leveler" challenge.
• All feats, challenges and raffle objectives must be completed with at least 20 players on the server. (Excludes leveling challenges and the Rifle Master feat.)
• Anyone breaking any of the above rules may lose their privilege of event rewards.

Some rewards will be automated and won't need maintenance, but most activities will require screenshots. These will be posted in the Event subforum, to keep things neat and organized.
 
Results

 

The squad marzu wins the Squad Wars with a total of 6539 kills! As for the levelbank rewards, these will be given out throughout the course of this next week. Thanks for participating and we look forward the next event, hopefully with less server instability.

Shopmenu item as in an item in the war3 items shop, things you buy with ingame $$$ for health/dmg etc. not the models/nadeskins you're thinking of in the sense of "shop".
