Piero 2272 Posted March 19, 2014 What is this exactly? ROFL started to fuck around with people's IP and probably tried to get something off staff threatening them with DDoS attacks.

Ichalvl 1752 Posted March 19, 2014 Hahahahaha This is hilarious Seriously, people can change their IP's so easily nowadays that if you get their IP only once you can do next to nothing with it. GG.

Ichalvl 1752 Posted March 19, 2014 Do a tutorial then please step 1: unplug router step 2: wait 5 mins step 3: plug back in router If you have a static IP / it doesn't work step 1: call internet service company step 2: talk to a representative and say that your IP is currently under abuse and you would like a new one step 3: give them info they'll change your ip either way you get a new ip in less than 5 minutes of actual work, waiting on hold / for router to reset doesn't count. 1 Piero reacted to this
GaryTheSnail 220 Posted March 19, 2014 What are the pro's/con's of static and dynimic ips? I never really understood that.
Ichalvl 1752 Posted March 19, 2014 What are the pro's/con's of static and dynimic ips? I never really understood that. Static is nice when you host a lot of servers from your own router / IP because people can use the same one for the forseeable future However, static IP's are more of a pain to change because restarting the router doesn't swap the ip out for a new one. Dynamic IP's are nice if you dont really host things and you'd like to be able to change your IP at a moment's notice if you're being DDoS'd / something similar. 1 GaryTheSnail reacted to this
