In a tit-for-tat move, Russian lawmakers are drafting a law that would allow Russia to confiscate assets belonging to U.S. and European companies if sanctions are slapped on Moscow, Russian state media reported. And the chess pieces keep moving. So Russia wants Ukraine and is going to take it by force. They know the UN is not going use military action to stop this. However, they know they will be shut out. As a measure to detour sanctions they are basically saying they will take over any foreign company with offices in Russia. Russia has to know that this is not going to stop sanctions.
