We have a pub server. As far as scrims go just join with a few friends. I've got like 10 people I play with on a regular basis.

the problem with this is that comp games usually work as people either joining with randoms or making a lobby, this is cause it needs a full server to start up

so unless you wrangled 10 sG peeps in at the same time it wouldnt really work

this would be a server with 10 sG players (aka sG rules apply i.e. no hacking. i doubt racism and all the other shit would be enforced, but hacking is a problem in matchmaking), aka a 10 man. 2 captains, knife fight for side/first pick, etc etc.

lo3 configs (or just the default casual competitive, it isn't bad), shit like that

the only problem is that you would need someone with rcon to execute configs, and the last time we had that, the rcon password was passed around and abused hardcore. ask mitch about this one, because this is exactly why he took down the last server. too many faggots in sG to make it work
