Having seen the new remake (they are showing it at SXSW, it's on the 'Net already, just look around) I can most definitely tell you that it is not shit. 2 Timeassassin103 and Sakata reacted to this

I think the second one is much better than the first, and is going to beat the remake. (In my opinion) Edited March 10, 2013 by Timeassassin103

Eek 724 Posted March 10, 2013 They certainly didn't fuck around with the trailer, I enjoyed the old Evil Dead so I'd be willing to watch this one. Some remakes are good, some are bad. I won't criticize the movie until I've watched it. The best scene. Ignore the laugh track. That's all that came to my head before I opened this thread lol. Mr British 210 Posted March 10, 2013 I think this might end up with the problem that most reboots get where the producers are fans of the series and so the films balls gets covered in their saliva, which gets in the way of it being a good movie
jbandito 814 Posted March 10, 2013 90% of "horror" movies today aren't scary in the least, they are just gory and brutal. They should just be Gorror movies from now on.
