Faded 266 Posted August 8, 2011 After installing the 256 texture pack I noticed a "slight" lag and Blitz recommened downloading, http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/249637-173-optifine-hd-f-fps-boost/#, it helps boost FPS; however, I'm not sure if it automatically boost it or if I need to go somewhere to edit settings. I can edit settings in-game but I'm not sure if those are changed by this mod or not. So if anyone has this mod and can help that would be great. 2 Sakata and Archy reacted to this

Someguy 85 Posted August 8, 2011 I just tried it and I didn't see any noticeable improvements. Plus it isn't compatible with some of my mods.

Blitz_9100 16 Posted August 11, 2011 The video settings option in the menu lets you tweak some of these settings. Hovering over the setting gives basic detail of the setting and if it will increase performance.
