Which Phone Case

Normally I wouldn't use a case, but since my phone is so thin (Samsung Mesmerize/Fascinate) I don't think a case would be that much more of a burden. Plus I seem to have butter fingers when it comes to my phone and I drop it quite regularly. I've always liked the silicone ones, but worry it might be too big(I like to keep my phone in my front pocket), where as a plastic case would not protect as good, but would be slimmer. Any suggestions? I have selected a few I like for the poll.

I hate silicone covers, they're hard as fuck to get from your pocket. If you drop your phone quite frequently try to get a shock absorber cover, or kinda of a medium between think and thin.

I would go with the seidio.

The casemate seems to be what you are looking for.

The other two seem to add a bit of bulk to the phone.

If you don't mind bulk, the otterbox is like indestructible. You can abuse your phone so badly and no harm will come to it. Honestly, for me, I run no case and no screen protector. I'm typically pretty careful with my phone and I like the phone the way it was designed to look. If the otterbox is too bulky though, the case mate looks decent.

I normally would go naked, but the back of the fascinate has a very slick surface, so it tends to drop out of my pocket easy or I drop it.

When you guys say otterbox, do you mean just the silicone sleeve Impact, or the Commuter with the hard shell as well?

otterbox is slighly more flashy, not my taste but im sure they both do the job fine. both same price also.

Actually, according to the specs, the Commuter is slimmer, but only marginally.

Gonna be honest if you're looking for style these are pretty ugly. I got this sweet silicone chocolate bar case and it smells like chocolate too. But its your call. There are many cool things you can get off ebay and they are all good quality.
