Contract Killer 24 Posted December 21, 2010 I have a 42" LG LCD, and a PS3. When I'm playing and there is louder/deeper sounds it starts crackling and popping, and is annoying, sounds like the speakers are gonna blow. I've tried different HDMI cords and tried putting it in different ports, but nothing works. This doesn't happen when I watch tv, any suggestions or ideas? LinK 0 Posted December 21, 2010 Okay, I had a simliar problem. Playing FF13 or w/e using just hdmi sound would cut in/out.So I used the rcas along with the hdmi cord and haven't had a problem since.

Sketchmaticx 3170 Posted December 21, 2010 Happened to me a few times while playing games, I would just change the HDMI slot and turn on/off the TV and it would cut back on. 42" Bravia

Lesbian Dad 555 Posted December 21, 2010 try some component cables, see if it happens then. might rule out some possibilities like it being the tv or ps3. also, use that ps3 on different tvs
