New maps for WCS

I figure we could use a few new maps on WCS +perhaps taking a few of the (rarely/neverplayed) maps off. Seems for a while now despite my efforts to get people to vote for different maps... We keep playing the same old stuff, not because these same old maps are favorites so much... but because people are too lazy to try new ones.

Perhaps if possible you could change the limit on recently played maps being nominated such that people can't keep doing the same maps so frequently.

Also, the map de_coldfusion should be taken off because only a few people can download it, so the server is almost empty when it changes to this map.

The problem isn’t that the maps are not getting "used" its because people WILL not vote for them. Most people just spam 1 or look for the closest names they can find and vote on that. So unless an admin really changes the map right too it, 9 times outta 10 you will never get to play it. I wish we could add a timer to the map voting, like 5 seconds before you can just hit 1. It would make things alittle better for voting.

This. But even if theres a timer i will spam one usually because it's a ok map and theres no other good maps on there. I say we raise the limit till you can go on a map again. New maps would also be nice.

this is why eggnog made this thread so that we can remove the non-good maps off and replace them with new and hopefully acceptable maps

dust, dust2, dolls, italy, cbble, westwood ,italy_tactic, is the usual map rotation... on occasion we will play piranesi, losttemple,vegas,or train. So I think a map replay limit should be around 8-10. ^ Not so much for removing old maps as much, I'd just like something new and the maps I put up links too are all of reasonable size and lots of fun.
