I can't get my fucking NES system to work right. Everything comes on the screen jumbled and it's pissing me off.

1 lol blow on the cartridge, then put it under your shirt and blow hot air into it, then put it in almost all the way and slam it in

2 if that fails put it on top of a fan to run air through it

3 if that doesnt work take it apart and clean all the dust out and then repeat #2

4 just use an emulator

No, I want to use the old school controllers. Plus, I already tried the Windex thing cleaning all the pins on the console, as well as the games. It is 25 years old, so it just might be dying finally.

Mine is 25 years old... still works great, just have to sit it on a fan or the game freezes up in about 5 minutes

While it's on, try taking your two index fingers and slightly rocking the game left and right in the assembly. That usually works. Play around with doing that and hitting reset.

blow in the cartridge on the NES and if that doesnt work blow in the slot actually on the game its happened 2 me tons of times and i got it to work
