Yet another thread on how Valve had to ruin this wonderful game.

I'd be perfectly fine with it if they released a new version of CSS that used the new engine, and allowed us to still play on the 2006 engine, but they had to go and fuck it all up.

RIP CSS, You will be dearly missed.

Now I'm just waiting for it to become Counter Strike: World of WarSource.

This is the problem. With this update they will lose MANY players of CSS (The game just isn't the same, it feels too much like TF2 as far as handling goes) Only to gain very few mac users.

Well what I mean is like what happened with CS 1.6

You can still play it, if you want to. It hasn't been removed from you games list/CSS Hasn't replaced it.

I cant believe they are only charging Mac users $6.80 for the game. That pisses me off, I paid 50 bucks and then another 30 when I bought another account. And they just ruined the game for a few homo Mac users? I want to rage quit everything.

The problem is unlike 1.6, you can't go back after an awful change like this... 66 tick servers, no reg and ultimatly the downfall of css. Clearly valve doesn't appriciate the dedicated fans of CSS and feel they can just ruin it by making it more appealing to the newer players as such like tf2. I dont mind tf2 but dont fix source when it's not broken. I feel as if valve is intentionally killing source. This is all a plan so people will play the new CS they are making. Mark my words, in two years max there will be a new CS.
