MSI prepping an iPad like tablet running the android os.

Saw Android and was instantly sold. Plus, since it's running a much more flexible software platform (Linux), you'll be able to do a hell of a lot more with it. The Android store is one perk, along with an amazing community (which the iPad/iPod Touch/iPhone has as well), a large support for apps (not many developers are exclusively making iPod apps from what I've seen), and a much lower price point considering you're paying for the product and not the name.

The iPad, in my opinion, really isn't that great it all. Apple claims it to be a "magical and revolutionary" device. There's nothing magical or revolutionary about it. It's essentially an iPod that was enlarged to about three times it's size and converted to a 4:3 aspect ratio. They upped the processor and then gave it a price tag ranging from $500-830. It runs the iPhone/iPod OS and applications. Nothing really new and exciting, aside from updated apps like Calendar to better suit the larger screen.

Is that worthy of being called "magical and revolutionary?"

Not exactly.

LED-lit IPS Displays - It's an LED screen, cool story bro.

Multi-touch - It's been done before, cool story bro.

Thin and light - It's been done before, cool story bro.

Wireless, 3G - It's been done before, cool story bro.

SO REVOLUTIONARY! AND MAGICAL! (It actually is, if you watch the product video, the people who talk about it look pretty fucked.)

But this big ass fucking whatever the fuck this is, is fucking magical and revolutionary.

Anyway, I think you'd just be better off getting a netbook.. or an iPod. EDIT: The MSi tablet.
