Rates

So people have been telling me that I'm skipping all over the place but my ping is fine.

I never had this problem until recently.

They tell me to check my rates and it says mine is actually at 30000, but the server auto set it to 25000.

What is rates and how can I prevent myself from skipping around all over the place?

Turn off your goddamn hax.

Outside that, uh... NFC. It may just be something between you and the box, but if your rates are lower than usual, you might have to reset it everytime you come in? Don't quote me on that though.

put that in console

The rates don't do BIG differences, but sometimes yes..

Well apparently for me, it's a BIG difference.

My ping would be like 80~ and people would be complaining about me skipping all around.

I typed cl_cmdrate 33 in console.

What is that supposed to do?

There 3 things to put in console if you want it work

First, you need to know how many ticks is the server

100 - 66 - 33

Console command :

rate 25000

cl_cmdrate 100 - 66 - 33 (Depend how many tick the server is)

The other one i forget, just type in console "cl" without pressing enter , u will see a list of things down so u could see them there
