SNOWBOARDERS: My box

Recommended Posts

I made two ladder type pieces and then added legs, then nailed them both together, after that i added a layer of ply-wood on top, next week i should have my order of HDPE (google it i forget the actual name) which i will screw onto the plywood, then wait for the snow :D

EDIT:: just look at the album of photos here

Pretty fucking nice.

We've been getting a whole lot of fucking snow for the last few hours and with any luck it'll keep coming down all night. I'm fucking pumped to get on my board again.

I'd fuck the shit out of that on my skis

What's hard is a curved ramp that turns vertical and horizontal. My friend made one and I only got through it once at a high speed.

If you want to make a cheap box anyone out there, I'll tell you what I did a long ass time ago when I had no cash.

Spent like $15 and just bought a couple long 2 x 4s (for the frame) a piece of plywood for the top. And cut pvc pipes in half and layered them over the top right next to each-other. If it cracks on top just pack it with snow.

It moves insanely fast though. and takes more cut work.

Right now i'm using a flat metal rail for both snowboarding and skateboarding. Had the thing forever
