Kelso 4 Posted September 29, 2009 Firstly, you definitely do not need 8 gigs of RAM unless if you're running some architecture program or some shit.

Pebbz. 953 Posted September 29, 2009 If you only are going to buy a mobo, CPU, ram and GPU, what is your current PSU?
Nitestalker 792 Posted September 29, 2009 If you only are going to buy a mobo, CPU, ram and GPU, what is your current PSU?haha good point. i do not know actually. somewhere around 500w, id have to double check though
Elmo 1272 Posted September 30, 2009 u dont need 8gs of ram. what kind of graphics card are you looking for? a good one?
Guest formerlyaeth Posted September 30, 2009 6 GB would be more than exceptional and 500w is probably a little low if you want a high quality gaming computer and plan on OC'ing your CPU
Zagrao 0 Posted September 30, 2009 If you want to be a little expensive, I don't suggest getting no more than 4GB of RAM. Windows 7 will not recognize 8 GB even in x64 it only recognized 3.2GB of RAM on me and 2.56GB was physical ram, rest was all virtual ram. I have 4GB of RAM and it recognizes it yes, but wont' use all of it.Now for motherboard and CPU this is a great one.http://www.compusa.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4283309&CatId=1599RAM buy 2 of thesehttp://www.compusa.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3079598&CatId=2261Video Card http://www.compusa.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3738445&CatId=1839too bad this is 518.96 total without including where it needs to ship to. But this will be a good set to go with. (oh yeah rebates end tomorrow so if you want it at that price, tomorrow is it.)

Pebbz. 953 Posted September 30, 2009 Anything fairly new is gonna need more than a 500w PSU. :S
