||||Reset on Rank System?||||

I know the server has been horribly laggy lately.

And with all the changes coming around do you think the Hlstats (ranking sytem) should be reset?

It was calculating 2 points per kill no matter what rank you were for over a month anyways.

I understand its working now, but ratios are being affected by the latency of the server.

Agreed or Disagreed on a Stat/Place reset?

Thanks for posting - I rarely look at the complaint department but that cleared up A LOT of what's going on with th servers and when they should be back to normal.

Hmm, well the ranks were reseted only weeks ago when hlstatsx went to CE. Even though your rank went down and now have a bad ratio because of the recent lag, you will hardly noticed you did that bad in a few months. Your ratio will eventually average out to your skill level.

Some people have really good ratios no matter what they play though ( when the lag isn't up ) of 3:1 or even somewhat close to 4:1... if you have a bunch of deaths due to the lag, it's really hard to get your ratio back up to that point

I find it easier to kill people with the lag. Especially with dunpeal lol, I was 1:1 ratio before now I'm slowly raising to 2.5:1

Showing exactly why we need a reset when servers are stable. People can't hit you because of the lag. So you play a race that's hard to kill + it's hard enough to kill someone. Of course you'll be doing better.
