viva pinata was a great game actually. i would personally rank it higher than HS. Bioshock was short, and the gameplay was ok, i wouldnt give it a 96% maybe a 89-90%

No, no, no. Those ratings are averages of all the ratings the game got. BioShock had 66 reviews that they recorded, and thats the average rating of all of those reviews.

Again- same thing with BioShock. It had to have been something more than the shortness of the game to receive a score below 9.

People would rather have a great short game, rather than a long boring game. BioShock was so short, I beat it twice, once on medium and the second time through on easy for achievements in only 5 days (5 day rental), yet GameSpot gave it a 9. Obviously a short game doesn't necessarily = lower score.

If Paramount is HD-DVD exclusive, that means all movies made go HD-DVD. Speilberg doesn't have a choice what format the movie is printed to.

I don't know why I said it led, as I can't find anything but units shipped, and that is a lot higher than the units sold by the 64, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. I kind of assumed. If they led, then fine- doesn't matter because the PS1 was rubbish compared to the 64.

The director makes the movie, but he doesn't own it because everything is being paid for by the studio thats paying him. All he gets is whats in the credits, and its all the same for Spielberg.

No, you don't understand. Paramount/Dreamworks paid him to make the movie. Right? He was paid and made the movie, and would have preferred it to be put on Blu-ray, as he was a Blu-ray fan. Paramount went solely with HD-DVD. He didn't like that, and said there wouldn't be a second Transformers from Paramount, as he had no choice what the first one was recorded to. He then got knocked back into his place after realizing that Paramount signs his paychecks and that his not really a diamond in the rough (no one else really needs/wants him).

I'm saying that a director does NOT have a choice in the matter, so if Spielberg wants a movie on Blu-ray, he better find a different studio.

L.A. Noire was said to be an exclusive by Take Two in an interview about GTA IV. So maybe they are getting a different exclusive.
