Honestly if your building a new computer to overclock out of the box - your buying the wrong hardware.

Your hardware out of the box, stock clock speeds, should run what you want it to run.

If it doesn't your a cheap bastard.

If your poor, your impatient :o

Wait a few months and save your money!

I'm usually pretty poor, but I have nice things. I save for a few months at a time before I splurge.

If you got the money im looking at getting this:

Motherboard

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131343

Processor

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103472

Video Card x2

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130476

RAM

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820134864

Power Supply

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817153105

Everything else is basically simple stuff to pick (Optical Drives, Hard Drives, Case and such). Nice computer build Ive weighed all the pro's and con's and only bad thing is heat (depending on case and fans) and the price. So if you go money that is a very nice and fully compatible build.

In my opinion, you should never start your computer with multiple video cards. The beauty of SLI/Crossfire is expandability, so you should start with the best video card you can buy, then when you have the money and want to upgrade you can easily and less expensively than otherwise.

CPU :Intel Core i7 920

Ram : CORSAIR XMS3 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333

Mobo : EVGA 141-BL-E757-TR LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX X58 SLI LE

PSU : CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready

Case : Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

GPU : EVGA 01G-P3-1180-AR GeForce GTX 285 1GB 512-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16

CPU Heatsink : COOLER MASTER V8 RR-UV8-XBU1-GP 120mm

OS : 64 bit Vista

this is my suggested build, i've posted 100 times on here.

This is pretty much beast. Although i'd recommend buying the pre-order version of windows 7, and if you can't afford this, go with a core 2 duo. You really can't go wrong with anything for the core 2 duo because all the good shit has already been found, so simply go to newegg, click on the component you need in the drop down menu, and click sort by average rating. Then read the reviews and find out what best suits you for performance/price ratio.

But don't forget you could always reuse your case, optical drives, possibly PSU, etc., you don't have to go out and buy new shit if it isn't broke.

I suggest saving more before buying a computer.

Agreed. Unless you wanna be even more out dated in a year. If you wanna buy a nice computer, save up some more, but if you need a computer, I suppose you can go ahead.
