Steam Problem

So I formatted my hard drive, then re downloaded CSS from steam, and the Orange box from my discs. Whenever I try to launch any one of the games it says:

"Steam has found a problem with your local games file. Game files will now be reacquired from the Steam servers."

And they all say "Download Starting..." but none of them have done anything.

Best idea is to back them up, reinstall steam, and try again. If that doesn't work, just download em again.

you might wanna just delete your steam file then reinstall but when your reinstalling your games install one at a time via steam

When you reformatted did you reinstall other programs as well? If it keeps happening even after doing so something else must be interfering with it that you're carrying along with your reformat. Steam has a list of applications that may conflict with it:

Or just try uninstalling any that you might have suspicions of interference.

Fuck, it only did it for HL2, the other ones are still stalled. -.-
